We are seeking baristas who will be able to work part-time during the week and also possibly on Saturdays. Responsibilities will consist mostly of preparing beverages, serving pastries, taking orders, operating Square POS system, and occasionally answering the phone. Down time is used to clean and organize. You should be able to lift 20 lbs.
You have an excellent work ethic and can adapt to varied situations. You take initiative, have keen attention to detail and are committed to a clean, orderly workplace. You have no problem completing tasks such as inventory and cleaning the toilet and floors. You feel you are personable and can engage in friendly banter with customers.
We prefer Blue Bottle training and experience, but at a minimum, you must have: (1) basic espresso knowledge, (2) experience or training on professional espresso machine, and (3) a desire to be in an environment that improves your barista skills.
We are seeking a full-time administrative assistant with the following responsibilities:
+ DAILY OPERATIONS: Manages the day-to-day operations of the office.
+ OFFICE SUPPLIES: Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
+ FILING AND ORGANIZATION: Organizes and maintains all files and records.
+ SCHEDULING: Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
+ MEETING ATTENDANCE: Attends and records meeting discussions and properly files all information into organized systems.
+ PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Manages multiple projects at once and conducts research. Drafts and edits project proposals.
+ ORDER PLACEMENT AND FULFILLMENT: Works with systems specialist to create, send and receive all purchase orders to/from manufacturers.
+ ACCOUNTING: Manages all accounts payable and receivable through QuickBooks. Insures all purchase orders are received in a timely fashion. Insures all invoices are sent out and paid in a timely fashion. Insures all accounts payable invoices are paid in a timely fashion. Reviews and reconciles financial records on a monthly basis. Prepares company financial files for yearly taxes.
+ READING AND WRITING: Prepares and edits correspondence, reports, and presentations.
+ RESEARCH AND COMMUNICATION: Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
+ CUSTOMER SERVICE: Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries. Provides top-level customer service.
+ GUEST ARRANGEMENTS: Makes travel and guest arrangements.
